DivorceCare
DivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. The DivorceCare program is a biblical approach to divorce, separation, and related issues such as reconciliation, remarriage, forgiveness and the effect of divorce on children and families. DivorceCare emphasizes that real healing from the intense pain of divorce must begin with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Faith United Methodist Church will begin the 13-week program on Wednesday, February 20, 2008. Child Care is available through 5th grade upon request. Stephen Ministry - Commissioning Sunday Sunday, May 18, 2008, Faith will commission four (4) new Stephen Ministers. We ask that you keep these individuals in your prayers as they complete their training and begin their ministry in Christian care-giving, bringing Christ's love to people in need.
Cancer Survior Sunday - June 1, 2008 This is the Sunday we celebrate all those who have survived cancer and their care-givers. To support this message of Hope we would like all our greeters, ushers and communion steward to be cancer survivors and/or care-givers that Sunday. If you are interested in helping please contact Kathy Lewelling. You need not have any experience in any of these areas, we'll take care of you.
